Man held with one-kg heroin in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, May 31, 2020 (BSS) – In an anti-crime drive, members of Rapid
Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with one kilogram of
heroin here in the early hours of today.
RAB sources said the arrested person was identified as Md Rabin, 19, son of
Kamrul Islam of Hazrapukur Bihari Colony area in Rajshahi city.
On a tip-off, a team of RAB conducted a raid at Bash adda area under
Shahmukhdum Police Station in the city and arrested the person with the huge
contraband items around 2.15 am.
A case was recorded with the police station and the arrested person with
the seized goods was handed over to police.
