DHAKA, May 30, 2020 (BSS) – Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) founding chairman and valiant freedom fighter, Imamul Kabir Shanto died of coronavirus(COVID-19)at the Combined Military Hospital in the city this morning.
He was 66, family sources said.
He established Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Sundarbans Courier Services (Pvt) Ltd and Shanto-Mariam Foundation.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today expressed profound shock at the death of Imamul Kabir Shanto.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
