Women and Children Affairs secretary’s mother passes away
DHAKA, May 29, 2020 (BSS) – Ayesha Begum, a retired school teacher and
mother of Women and Children Affairs Ministry’s Secretary Kazi Rowshan
Akhter, passed away in the city today.
She was 82, said a press release.
Ayesha Begum was taken to a city hospital after she fell sick at her city
residence in the morning and the duty doctor declared her dead soon after
reaching the hospital.
She left four daughters, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers to
mourn her death.
Ayesha Begum, wife of late Kazi Amirul Islam of Magura sadar upazila, will
be buried at the Magura Poura graveyard following her namaz-e-janaza after
Isha prayers at the graveyard mosque in Bhayana area in Magura today.
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira today
expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ayesha Begum.
In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for eternal peace of
the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
