Jabbar mourns Anwara Begum’s death
DHAKA, May 26, 2020 (BSS) – Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Anwara Begum, wife of Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Anwara Begum died of cardiac arrest this morning at the age of 67.
She breathed her last at 10.40 am today at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
Anwara Begum was suffering from old age complications for a long time and she had been on life support at the hospital for last few days.
She is survived by husband, three daughters, grandsons, granddaughters as well as a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
