BGB distributes food to destitute in Dinajpur, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon
DHAKA, May 24, 2020 (BSS)- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) distributed food
and relief items to destitute and helpless people at frontier areas under its
jurisdictions in Dinajpur, Chapainawabganj and Naogaon districts today
maintaining social distancing.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Dinajpur 42 Battalion distributed foodstuffs
among 1,000 helpless families at east and south Daptaripara, Chatrapara,
Chehelgazi Para, Mission Road, Rail Slum, Sastitala, Kanchan Bridge area and
Guchhagram area of Sadar upazila in Dinajpur district.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Chapainawabganj 53 Battalion gave 250 food
packets to poor and destitute people at DMC and Poladanga border areas in
Chapainawabganj.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Patnitola 14 Battalion distributed relief
items among 350 poor, helpless and destitute families at Koigram, Kharampur,
Chakchandi, Umar, Gopalpur and Sonadanga frontier areas in Naogaon district
of Rajshahi division.
The food items were given by Bidyanondo Foundation in the wake of
coronavirus pandemic.
