Two children drown in Feni
FENI, May 24, 2020 (BSS) – Two children drowned ina pond at Vadadia
village under Sonagazi upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Imran Hossain, 6, son of Ilias of the
aforesaid area and Nahid, 7, son of Abdul Latif of Gobindapur village under
Sadar upazila.
Matiganj Union Parishad Chairman Rabiuzzaman Babu told BSS that they went
to the pond to take bathe. After not seeing them for long time, family
members started searching them and found their floating bodies in the pond.
The children were rushed to Sonagazi Upazila Health Complex where duty
doctor declared them dead, he added.
Sonagazi Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sajedul Islam said the
process of filing an unnatural death case is underway.
