COVID 19-HAMID-PPE
Hamid foundation distributes PPEs, foodstuffs at Keraniganj
DHAKA, May 23, 2020 (BSS) – Trustee of Hamid Foundation Zarif Hamid today
handed over personal protective equipment (PPE) and foodstuffs to Keraniganj
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Amith Debnath and Keraniganj Upazila Chairman Shahin
Ahmed for distributing those among the poor and jobless people.
He handed over 500 pieces of PPEs and essentials for distributing
among10,000 poor and workless people from his residence of the upazila.
Zarif maintaining social distancing gave 500 pieces of PPEs and essentials
for 10,000 poor and workless people of Keraniganj upazila.
Speaking on the occasion, Zarif Hamid said the Hamid Foundation has been
providing food and other supports to destitute people under Keraniganj
upazila.
He said the government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, is working
relentlessly to protect the country’s people from coronavirus infection.
“All have to follow health guidelines to contain the deadly virus,” Zarif
said.
