Murad mourns death of ex-Information Commission secretary Tawfiq
DHAKA, May 22, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Md
Murad Hassan today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of
former secretary (additional secretary) of the Information Commission
Tawfiq Alam.
In a condolence message, the state minister prayed for eternal peace
of the departed soul and convoyed deep sympathy to the bereaved
family.
Tawfiq Alam breathed his last at a city hospital today during
undergoing treatment in the morning at the age of 59.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives,
colleagues and admirers to mourn his death.
Additional Secretary of the 86th batch of Bangladesh Civil Services
(BCS), Tawfiq went to Post Retirement Leave two months before as
secretary of the IC.
