Khalid gives financial aid to photo-journalist Mizanur’s family
DHAKA, May 21, 2020 (BSS)-State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud
Chowdhury today provided Taka 50,000 as cash assistance to the family of the
late M Mizanur Rahman Khan, senior joint general secretary of the Bangladesh
Photo Journalists Association and senior photo journalist (photographer) of
the Dainik Bangladesh Khobor.
The state minister gave the financial assistance on behalf of the Ministry
of Shipping, a press release said.
Mizanur Rahman died on way to hospital after he felt ill yesterday (May
20).
In a condolence message on May 20, Information Minister and Awami League
Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud expressed deep shock and sorrow at
the death of Mizanur and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
