DHAKA, May 20, 2020 (BSS)-New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is set to
grace Tamim Iqbal’s show, which will be aired live on Tamim’s Facebook and
Youtube channel at 3 pm on Thursday.

Williamson, one of the best all-format batsmen in the game, will be the
fifth foreign cricketer in Tamim’s show that created abuzz in social media as
the Bangladesh ODI skipper uncovered various interesting stories of
Bangladesh cricket and the players through the programme.

The Kiwis captain is part of world cricket’s ‘Feb 4′ which also bracketed
India’s Virat Kohli, Australia’s Steven Smith and England’s Joe Root. These
four cricketers currently ruled in all three formats of the cricket.

Virat Kohli, the only player in the cricket history, averaging 50 plus in
all three formats of cricket had already graced Tamim Iqbal’s show before his
colleague and world’s best opener Rohit Sharma and South African former Faf
Du Plessis went on live with Tamim.

Wasim Akram was the fourth foreign cricket personality to join Tamim’s
Facebook Live what he started with his teammate Mushfiqur Rahim.

Considered as one of the best batsmen in the country, opener Tamim has
brought different guests for each episode.

Streaming the first two sessions with wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur
Rahim and Mahmudullah respectively, Tamim moved the show to his facebook and
Youtube channel where his predecessor Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, pacers Taskin
Ahmed and Rubel Hossain, Test captain Mominul Haque, swashbuckling batsmen
Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das made appearances and shared some lighthearted
moments.

In one episode three former Bangladesh skippers — Khaled Mahmud, Habibul
Bashar and Naimur Rahman Durjoy — came in as guests of Tamim’s show and made
the viewers’ travel to the past of Bangladesh cricket sharing different
stories.

Tamim’s last show featured three former captains — Akram Khan, Minhajul
Abedin Nannu and Khaled Masud Pilot. Wasim Akram joined the trio as a special
guest.
