APA creates competition among public institutions: Mozammel
DHAKA, June 21, 2018 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today said the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) in different public institutions created a sense of competition in doing good jobs.
“APA is helping the officials to create accountability and proficiency in their respective jobs,” the minister told the officials at the signing ceremony of the Annual Performance Agreement (APAs) for the 2018-19 fiscal between the Liberation War Ministry and its affiliated institutions here.
Noting that government introduced the APA system to bring more transparency, accountability and speed the activities in the government, he said, “Besides, the agreement also focuses on the increasing the institutional capacity and proper use of the resources within the respective institutions.”
Different departments and offices under the Liberation War Ministry signed the Annual Performance Agreements.
Concerned Ministry Secretary Aparup Chowdhury, senior officials and employees of the ministry were present on the occasion.
