RAJSHAHI, May 19, 2020 (BSS) – Another corona testing laboratory
been added to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) today.
The laboratory went into functioning with 40 samples testing around
2 pm, said Dr Saiful Ferdous, Deputy Director of RMCH.
The laboratory has been installed in RMCH’s High Dependency Unit
(HDU) having ability to testing 94 samples every day. The laboratory
has been launched with installation of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
testing, he added.
The first PCR laboratory was established at the Department of
Virology in RMCH that has been functioning since April 1 last in which
188 samples are being tested in two shifts every day, sources said.
