CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 18, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1 kg 950 grams of heroin from Chowhodditola village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila of the district yesterday afternoon.
The arrested person is Md. Morsalin alias Apel, 27 of Rohonpur Madrashapara under Gomostapur upazila in the district.
RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Rajshahi Mollapara camp raided the area at around 3:40 pm and arrested Morsalin with the heroin worth Tk. 1, 95, 00,000.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar thana with filing a case.
