JOYPURHAT, May 17, 2020 (BSS) – District Police and Police Nari Kalyan
Samity distributed foodstuffs among 1,700 distressed and jobless families on
Ramdeo Bazla Government High School premises at district town here yesterday
with their personal fund, collected from their one day salaries, in the wake
of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Salam Kabir and Police Nari Kalyan
Samity President Superintendent of Police Navana Khan handed over the food
items including rice, pulses, oil and sugar to 1,700 distressed and helpless
families.
Additional Superintendent of Police Tariqul Islam, Additional
Superintendent of Police (Crime) Sajjad Hossain, Additional Superintendent of
Police (Sadar) Abdus Salam and other officers concerned of the district
police were present on the occasion.
