70 visually-impaired people get food aid in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, May 17, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 70 visually impaired people were provided food assistance as Eid Gift aimed at reducing their crisis amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) provided the support including one kilogram of aromatic rice, one kilogram of sugar and one packet of vermicelli at Roypara area under Shahmukhdum Police Station in the city Saturday afternoon through maintaining social distancing.
RMP Commissioner Humayun Kabir accompanied by other officials concerned distributed the support as part of its distributing humanitarian assistance among the distressed people to cope with the present troubled time.
