Murad condoles death of musician Azad Rahman
DHAKA, May 16, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Md
Murad Hassan today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of
noted singer, composer, music director and filmmaker Azad Rahman.
In a condolence message, the state minister recalled the
contributions of Azad to music, saying the sad demise of Azad caused
an irreparable loss to the country’s music arena.
Murad prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
The National Film Award recipient in music, Azad Rahman breathed
his last around 4.00 today at the Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in
the city at the age of 76.
He left behind his wife, three daughters, and a host of relatives
and admirers to mourn his death.
