DHAKA, May 15, 2020 (BSS) – Rain or thundershowers with lighting flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in 24 hours as of 9 am
tomorrow, a met office release said.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Madaripur, Rangamati, Rajshahi, Pabna, Barishal and Patuakhali and it May abate from some places, it said.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 37.2 degrees Celsius at Jashore while lowest one today 20.6 degrees Celsius at Kumarkhali.
The highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am on Friday was recorded 98 millimetres (mm) at Ishurdi.
The sun sets at 6.34pm today and rises at 5.15am tomorrow in the capital.
