Kamal, Mannan condole Prof. Anisuzzaman’s death
DHAKA, May 14, 2020 (BSS) – Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today
expressed deep shock at the death of eminent educationist and National
Professor Dr Anisuzzaman.
In a message of condolence, Kamal said “Prof Anisuzzaman made a great
contribution to the country’s education, literature and research. The nation
will always remember his contributions with deep respect.”
The finance minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Besides, Planning Minister MA Mannan today expressed deep shock at the
death of eminent educationist and National Professor Dr Anisuzzaman. He also
prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy
to the bereaved family.
Anisuzzaman died of old age complications at the Combined Military
Hospital (CMH) in the city during undergoing treatment this afternoon. He
breathed his last around 4:55 pm at the age of 83, CMH sources said.
