JOYPURHAT, May 13, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 11 more people are cured of coronavirus infection today, raising the number of relieved persons to 15 in the district.
Civil Surgeon Dr Selim Mia said a total of 11 more people have been released from the isolation ward of the Institute of Health Technology at Gopinathpur in Akkelpur upazila of the district and returned home as their tests came negative for coronavirus today.
As a result, a total of 15 people have returned home safely after battling against COVID-19 disease, he said.
In the 2nd phase test results, 11 coronavirus patient were diagnosed as negative and the local health department released them, he added.
However, 70 infected people are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
At present, 1,225 people have been kept in quarantine. Of them, 1,110 are in home quarantine, 61 in institutional quarantine and 55 in isolation.
