Country has buffer stock of food: Kamal Mojumder
DHAKA, May 12, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed
Mojumder today said the country has a buffer stock of food to deal with the
bad situation caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.
“The government will continue its humanitarian relief program as long as
the coronavirus crisis continues,” he said while distributing relief among
the poor people in city’s Mirpur area, said an official press release.
The State Minister of Industries distributed over 300 packets of food items
among the poor people.
Kamal Mojumder said the government is working under the direction of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina to overcome the coronavirus situation.
“The process of implementation of the stimulus package of around Taka one
lakh crore announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for all sectors of the
economy has already started,” he added.
