JS speaker mourns death of Waliur Rahman Reza
DHAKA, May 9, 2020 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Awami
League (AL) national committee member and one of the organisers of the
Liberation War Waliur Rahman Reza.
In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul
and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, JS Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam
Chowdhury also condoled the death of Reza and conveyed deep sympathy to the
bereaved family.
Waliur Rahman Reza, also advisory council member of Gaibandha district AL
and former Member of Parliament, breathed his last this morning at his
residence in the city at the age of 80.
He left behind his wife, only son and a host of relatives, admirers,
political colleagues and followers to mourn his death.
