DHAKA May, 9, 2020 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF)
postponed it’s emergency executive committee meeting which was scheduled to
be held on Monday (May 11) to decide the fate of the Bangladesh Premier
League (BPL) football.
In a BFF press release today (Saturday) said despite taking the primary
decision to arrange an emergency executive committee meeting in order to take
decision of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the meeting will be now held at
congenial atmosphere after the ongoing general holidays due to COVID-19
situation.
On April 25 last, the professional Football League Committee (PFLC) in an
emergency meeting had reached at a conclusion by bestowing the responsibility
on BFF executive committee to decide the fate of the BPL if require.
Earlier, on March 24, the Professional Football League Committee postponed
the BPL for an indefinite period due to the growing coronavirus outbreak in
the country.
