4 more test positive for COVID-19 in Shariatpur
SHARIATPUR, May 09, 2020 (BSS) – Four more persons were diagnosed as coronavirus (COVID-19) positive after testing 1183 samples in the last 24 hours till this morning, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 52 in the district.
The newly detected COVID-19 patients include 1 person at Mahmudpur union of Sadar upazila, 1 at Binodpur union, 1 at Bhumkhara union of Naria upazila and one at Char Kumaria union pf Bhedarganj upazila.
District Civil Surgeon Office’s Corona Control Room Coordinator Dr Abdur Rashid confirmed the matter to BSS.
One of the victims is receiving treatment at isolation unit of Shariatpur Sadar Hospital while the remaining patients are kept in quarantine at their homes, he said.
