NARAYANGANJ, May 08, 2020 (BSS) – Two siblings and an 8-month pregnant woman were killed in a septic tank explosion at Mollabari in Dighipar area in Bandar Upazila of Narayanganj early this morning.
The deceased were identified as Masnun, his brother Jisan and Laboni Akhter.
The explosion also injured five others people. The blast took place at a 5-storey building on Wilson Road in the area at 6:00 am, leaving two minor brothers died on the spot and six others injured including the pregnant woman, said Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandar Police Station.
Later, the pregnant woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital with the help of locals, he added.
