Road accident kills bank official in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, June 20, 2018 (BSS)- An official of BRAC Bank was killed and
seven others were injured in a road accident on Manikganj-Dhaka road at
Medulia under Dhallah union of Singair upazila here today.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman Khan, 36, son of Amir Ali khan
of Shubhashini village under Tala upazila of Satkhira district.
Police said the accident occurred when a Singair-bound battery driven
auto-bike collided head-on with a Dhaka-bound goods-laden truck in the area
around 9.30 am, leaving eight people injured on the spot.
The wounded were admitted to Singair Upazila Health Comlpex from where
Abdur Rahman Khan was shifted to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar as
his condition deteriorated.
But later he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The body was sent
to Manikganj hospital for autopsy.
A case was filed with Singair Police Station in this connection.
