DHAKA, May 07, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner
Mohammad Shafiqul Islam has directed to set up disinfectant spray tunnels at
the entrances of every police station under DMP to prevent spread of the
novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
DMP Public Relations and Media Branch Deputy Commissioner (DC) Masudur
Rahman disclosed the information to media here today.
As part of the directive, disinfectant spray tunnels have already been set
up in several police stations of the capital, including Kafrul and Gulshan,
he said.
Tunnels will be installed in the remaining police stations in next few
days, he added.
