Shahriar distributes eggs alongside govt relief in Charghat, Bagha
DHAKA, May 6, 2020 (BSS) – In order to meet the people’s demand for balanced and nutritious food, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has started distributing eggs along with government relief in his home constituency of Charghat and Bagha Upazilas in Rajshahi amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Being collected from the local poultry farms, 1.5 lakh eggs will be distributed in the first phase, a press release said here today.
Rice, vegetables and eggs were distributed to 90 families of Arani Union of Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi district yesterday, the release added.
