No international archery event before September

DHAKA, May 5, 2020 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) general
secretary Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapal said no international archery event
will be possible to arrange before September due to coronavirus epidemic.

The World Archery has already closed all the international schedules till
August 31 and at the same time the parent organisation of archery hoped that
it would able to come back in action by this year.

“There is no compromise with health issue of the players ….. they are the
asset of the country so we cannot take any risk in this situation …. when
the situation become normal, we’ll get back in action,” said the BAF general
secretary to BSS.

Chapal said the World Archery already conveyed their decision to us and no
international events will be possible to arrange in any circumstances before
September.

The parent organisation however said each national federation can arrange
national events and other competitions in July considering the proper
situation, he added.
