BOA condole death over it’s national course director
DHAKA, May 5, 2020 (BSS)- Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) national
course director and former treasurer AHM Shamsul Islam Mondal passed away
today (Tuesday) morning due to old age complication at his residence in
Kurigram.
He was 75.
He has been working as a BOA national course director till his death since
1996.
Apart from principal of the Physical Education College he was acted as the
secretary of National Sports Council in his long illustrated career.
Besides, he was a joint secretary of cabinet division, labor secretary of
Bangladesh Embassy to Iraq and went to retirement as a director general of
bauro of manpower division.
In a press release today (Tuesday), the BOA president General Aziz Ahmed,
SBP, BSP, BGBM,PBGM, BGBMS, PSC, G and BOA Secretary General Syed Shayed
Reza, BOA officials and employees expressed their deep shock at the passing
away of AHM Shamsul Islam Mondol and at the same time they conveyed sympathy
to the bereave family members by praying salvation for the departed soul.
