CHATTOGRAM, May 5, 2020 (BSS) – Six more people including four policemen
have returned home after recovering from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in
Chattogram.
The patients were discharged from the isolation of Chattogram General
Hospital (CGH) this afternoon. They have been asked to stay in home
quarantine for the next 14 days.
Confirming the matter Dr Jamal Mostafa, CGH Resident Medical Officer, said
that the health administration declared them fit as they were tested negative
for coronavirus in two consecutive terms while they were undergoing treatment
in isolation.
CGH sources said the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has
confirmed to 110 in the Chattogram district till today.
Of them, seven patients died, so far and 27 were released after recovery
and the rest of the patients are taking treatment at the different hospitals
in Chattogram, the sources added.
