KHULNA, May 05, 2020 (BSS) – Khulna district administration launched a mobile application to reach necessary essentials such as fish and vegetables to people’s doorsteps as district-wise lockdown was enforced to contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Residents can order fresh vegetables, fruits and others essential items through the app namely “Hater Muthoy Kacha Bazar” by getting in touch with listed vendors, officials said.
The app is now available on google play store and anyone can download it free of cost.
“With the help of the mobile application, residents can get to know who will supply fresh vegetables, fish and fresh fruits in their respective localities. The application will provide names and contact details of vendors. They can call and order required vegetables and fruits, and the vendor will deliver the items to people’s doorsteps,” said Deputy Commissioner Md Helal Hossain.
Khulna district administration in association with Department of Agriculture Extension, District Livestock Department and Directorate of Khulna Agriculture Marketing inaugurated the app.
