24 more detected as COVID-19 positive in M’singh
Mymensingh, May 4, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 24 more people were detected as
COVID 19 positive in Mymensingh division in the last 24 hours ending at 2pm
today.
As many as 276 samples of suspected patients were tested at the lab of
Mymensingh Medical College during the period. Of the samples, twenty four
were found as coronavirus positive, according to Director Health Mymensingh
Division.
A total of 329 patients were detected as coronavirus carrier till today in
the division.
Of the total 24 positive cases, 13 are from Mymensingh, 10 from Netrakona
and one is from Jamalpur district,said sources at the health division.
According to the sources, a total of 267 patients are taking treatment in
different hospitals, including Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Of the
total infected persons, six patients have already died.
