Zila Parishad distributes relief among 10,000 families in Laxmipur
LAXMIPUR, May 3, 2020 (BSS)- Zila Parishad began distributing relief among
10,000 poor and middle class families in five upazilas of the district today.
Zila Parishad chairman Mohammad Shahjahan inaugurated the relief
distribution programme at a simple function at Ramgati upazila.
On the first day, 2000 families got the relief items, including rice,
pulses, oil, sugar, date, chickpea and baby foods.
Zila Parishad chief executive officer Mohammad Safiuzzaman Bhuiyan and
Awami League district unit general secretary Nuruddin Chowdhury Nayan, among
others, were present in the function.
