Nasim optimistic of overcoming COVID-19 under Sheikh Hasina’s leadership

SIRAJGANJ, May 2, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Presidium Member and 14-
party alliance spokesperson Mohammed Nasim today expressed hope that the
country will return to normal situation soon after combating the COVID-19
under the dynamic leadership of the prime minister.

“The courageous Bangali nation will return to normal life winning the fear
of coronavirus soon under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina, Insha Allah,” he said.

The AL leader came up with the remarks while he was distributing food
items, including rice, pulses and edible oil, among destitute people at
Malshapara Chandali More and Mukta Plaza on Mujib Sarak here this afternoon.

Noting that none will remain hungry during the tenure of the present
government, Nasim said the number of jobless people is increasing in about
all countries while emergency situation is also continuing in many countries
across the globe due to the COVId-19.

In such a global condition, however, Bangladesh has been fighting COVID-19
with the head high under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, he said, urging the
people to stay indoors following the prime minister’s directives to combat
the COVID-19 situation.

He prayed for early removal of the global pandemic coronavirus from across
the world.

Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI) President Abu Yousuf
Surjo, Municipality Mayor Syed Abdur Rouf Mukta Sirajee, SCCI Senior Vice-
President Ishaq Ali and Vice President Advocate Abdul Hakim, Sirajganj
district Jubo League President Rashed Yousuf Jewel and Sirajganj district
Swechchhasebak League General Secretary Jihad Al Islam were present, on the
occasion, among others.

Later, Nasim distributed food items among destitute people in different
areas of his constituency in Kazipur here.
