MANIKGANJ, May 02, 2020 (BSS) – Five of the total 21 COVID-19 patients
have recovered in Manikganj district and returned to their respective homes
from different hospitals, Civil Surgeon (CS) Anwarul Amin Akanda said today.
He said a total of 738 suspected patients’ samples were sent to IECDR in
Dhaka for test. Of them, 21 were detected as COVID-19 positive.
Most patients were admitted to different hospitals while some others took
treatment at their respective homes. Five of them have recovered.
Three of the recovered patients are the residents of Singair upazila, one
of Harirampur upazila and one of Shibalaya upazila.
No patient was detected as COVID-19 positive afresh in the district, Civil
Surgeon said.
