KCC mayor distributes rice among destitute people
KHULNA, May 02, 2020 (BSS) – Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque has distributed rice, cash money among 283 KCC’s conservancy and electrical workers as well as guards at Nagor Bhaban aimed at mitigating their financial hardship amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
KCC mayor distributed 57 maunds of rice among them as a part of government assistance while each of the beneficiaries received 8-kg of rice and Taka 100 cash for purchasing vegetables Friday afternoon.
Director of Khulna Divisional Labour Directorate Md. Mizanur Rahman, among others, accompanied the mayor at that time.
