PANCHAGARH May 1, 2020 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon
distributed relief materials, includes rice, lentil, vegetables and edible
oil, and cash among 500 distressed and jobless people in Boda upazila of
Panchagarh district today.
The distribution function was held on the premises of Moydandigi union
parishad.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the government has reached food
and other necessary supports to the doorstep of the peoples amid the
coronavirus crisis throughout the country.
He said the goods trains started operations in the country to transport
vegetables and other agricultural products to ensure fair prices for the
farmers.
Deputy Commissioner
(DC) of Panchagarh Sabina Yesmin and Police Super Mohammad Yousuf Ali were
present during the distribution function.
Earlier , the Minister handed over cheques, for the money donated by Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina, to Kaumi madresha principals in Boda and Debiganj
upazilas.
