Mymensingh, April 30, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 17 patients were detected as
coronavirus carrier in the last 24 hours till 10am today.
Of them, two are doctors, two are nurses, eight are health workers of
Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH), four are from Mymensingh Sadar
upazila, including a doctor, and one is from Sharishabari upazila of Jamalpur
district, Principal of Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) Chitta Ranjan
Debbnath confirmed it.
He said after testing suspected samples at PCR lab of (MMC), 17 have been
found as coronavirus positive.
A total of 3,560 suspected samples were tested at the PCR lab of MMC. Of
them,
282 have been detected as coronavirus carrier.
The number of affected patient is gradually increasing in Mymensingh
region, he added.
