MANIKGANJ, April 29, 2020 – Five more people were tested positive for
coronavirus (COVID-19) in Manikganj district in last 24 hours.
So far, a total of 21 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in the
district, Civil Surgeon Dr. Anwarul Amin Akanda told BSS today.
Of the infected persons, three are physicians and two are health workers,
said the civil surgeon.
The civil Surgeon also said samples of a total of 625 suspected patients
were sent to IECDR for test, so far. Of those, 21 were detected as
coronavirus (COVID-19) positive.
A total of 2012 persons were kept in quarantine in the district. Of
them1747 were released and now 265 are remaining in quarantine,added the
civil surgeon.
