Kamal Mojumder condoles death of Jamilur Reza Choudhury
DHAKA, April 28, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of National Professor Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury.
In a condolence message, Kamal Mojumder prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
A former adviser to the Caretaker Government, Prof Jamilur Reza died of heart attack in his Dhanmondi residence in the city at the age of 77.
He was the founding vice-chancellor (VC) of BRAC University and was working as the VC of the University of Asia Pacific.
Ekushey Padak Awardee, Prof Choudhury was a civil engineer who graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
