Mymensingh, April 27, 2020 (BSS) – With the initiative of State Minister
for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, destitute people of Muktagaccha upazila of
the district today received relief goods which helps them mitigate their
sufferings caused by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Under the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the state minister
distributed relief materials among 3,337 poor, jobless and distressed people
of seven unions under the upazila.
The distributed relief goods include rice, pulse, edible oil, salt, potato
and soaps.
He said listed each person was given 10 kg rice,1 kg pulse,1kg edible oil,
1kg salt, 2kg potato and one piece of soap.
The minister also said earlier relief goods were distributed among 1,350
listed poor and jobless people at nine wards of Muktagacha municipality.
