CHANDPUR, April 26, 2020 (BSS) – The Directorate of National Consumer
Rights Protection (DNCRP) today fined 7 institutions during a drive at Puran
Bazar under Sadar upazila of Chandpur district to keep prices of essential
commodities stable during the ongoing holy month of Ramadan.
“Seven institutions were fined a total of Taka 21,500 in the area due to
price hike and also for not having price lists,” DNCRP Chandpur Office
sources said here.
Under the direction of the Director General of DNCRP and in coordination
with the concerned district administration, the aforesaid drive was conducted
in the area.
Assistant Director of DNCRP Nur Hossain led the drive.
