DHAKA, April 26, 2020 (BSS) – Gazi Group has provided protective gears for health professionals to six major hospitals in an effort to contain the lethal Coronavirus pandemic.
The Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) were given to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, Dhaka Shishu Hospital, Dhaka Metropolitan General Hospital, Mugda Medical College and Hospital, National Chest Disease Institute and Hospital (NIDCH) and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), said a press release today.
Gazi Group Chairman and Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi has taken the initiative to distribute the lifesaving materials to various hospitals and emergency services in the country in phases.
Vice Principal of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Shahadat Hossain Khan expressed their gratefulness to Gazi Group for providing quality PPEs for the protection of doctors and health workers.
Director of Shishu Hospital Professor Syed Shafi Ahmed said, “We are grateful for the PPEs that Gazi Group has given to our hospital to keep all of us safe in this critical moment.”
