Freedom Fighter Abdur Razzaq passes away

MYMENSINGH, June 19, 2018 (BSS) – Veteran freedom fighter Abdur Razzaq
died of kidney disease at his Muktagacha town’s Kalibari Pukur residence here
yesterday morning.

He was 67.

Razzaq was the Company Commander of Bangladesh Liberation Force popularly
known as Mujib Bahini during the War of Liberation in 1971.

Razzaq has been suffering from kidney diseases for long, family sources
said. He left behind his wife, two daughters, host of relatives and admirers
to mourn his death.

He was buried at Muktagacha Municipal graveyard with state honour after two
namaz-e-janazas at his village Bonbangla and local Nobarun Bidhyaniketan
ground after Asr prayers yesterday. Local freedom fighters, political
leaders, relatives and local elite were present at the janaza.
