RFL introduces seven protective gears to check COVID-19
DHAKA, April 25, 2020 (BSS) – Getwell Limited, a sister concern of RFL
Group, has introduced seven protective gears, aiming to help people in
containing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The products are – face shield, surgical goggles, body bag (used for the
storage and transportation of corpse), hand sanitizer, PPE full gown, WISK
cabin (sample taking room) and breathing assistance, said a press release
today.
The products are being manufactured in the factories of Getwell in Habiganj
Industrial Park, PRAN Industrial Park in Narsingdi and RFL Industrial Park in
Gazipur.
RFL Group Managing Director R N Paul said at present, protective products
are very necessary especially for doctors and health workers.
“Under the circumstance, we have started manufacturing the products in the
transition period of the country,” he said.
Paul hoped RFL manufacturers’ products, which are needed for daily life,
would meet the necessity at an affordable price for people of all classes and
professions.
“It is our moral duty to stand beside the people in this difficult time.
Our workers are working relentlessly, on humanitarian ground, to manufacture
the quality products risking their lives during the ongoing lockdown,” he
added.
Chief Operating Officer at Getwell Limited Sayed Hossain Chowdhury said
“We are supplying the products to hospitals on priority basis.”
Moreover, the products are also available at RFL Best Buy, and anyone can
also order the products through othoba.com, he said.
Chowdhury said WISK cabin and body bag will be available in the market soon
while breathing assistance will hit market once it gets approval from the
government’s concerned department.
