DHAKA, April 22, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted that rain may occur at different parts of the country, with lightning flashes, in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am.
“Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 33.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram while today’s minimum temperature was 17.2 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur in Rangpur.
The sun sets at 6.24 pm today and rises at 5.30 am tomorrow in the capital.
