Mymensingh, April 21, 2020 (BSS) – The government has distributed rice and
other essential commodities among poor, distressed and jobless people in the
district today.
District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Abul Kalam Azad told BSS that a
total of 1,850 tonnes of rice have already been distributed among 1.53 lakh
people at 13 upazilas of the district.
The government has allocated 2,040 tonnes of rice for destitute people of
the district, he said.
