JAMALPUR, April 21, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad Hassan distributed relief materials among 500 low-income families at Sarishabari upazila of the district last night to mitigate their hardship during the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.
He started distributing relief from Muchipara village of Pingna union and reached relief assistance at low-income people’s doorsteps with the help of concerned upazila administration, a press release said here today.
The relief items include rice, pulse, oil, potatoes and soap.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed, among others, accompanied him during the distribution of relief materials.
