BIFPCL distributes relief materials among 3,000 destitute families
KHULNA, April 19, 2020 (BSS) -The Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Private Ltd (BIFPCL) has distributed relief materials among 3,000 poor families aimed at mitigating their hardship caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Each of family has received a sack containing 10kg of rice, 2kg of potato, one kg each of onion, edible oil and pulse, two pieces of soaps and 500 grams of iodized salt.
Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Talukder Abdul Khaleque distributed the food items among the destitute people at Rampal upazila in Bagerhat district yesterday evening by strictly maintaining physical distance.
Deputy Project Director of Rampal Power Plant Md. Rezaul Karim, Rampal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tushar Kumar Pal, Rampal Upazila Chairman Moazzem Hossain, Vice Chairman Nurul Haque Lipon, Deputy Manager of Rampal Power Plant (HR) Tariqul Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
