Mannan condoles Jahanara Huq’s death
DHAKA, April 18, 2020 (BSS) – Planning Minister MA Mannan today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Jahanara Huq, mother of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Jahanara Huq, also a distinguished freedom fighter, passed away at a city hospital at the age of 86 in the early hours of today.
She was the wife of Advocate Serajul Huq, a politician and one of the close associates of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
